Robots run the
paint shop
Robots control the elaborate finishing processes. The wheels are thoroughly
cleaned and pre-treated to ensure optimum paint adhesion and corrosion
protection. Then they undergo several painting stages, each done automatically,
with the application of primer, color enamel and clear topcoat.
Finishing
Final check
Specially trained inspectors carry out the final checks. Each wheel is
examined to ensure its flawless finish. In addition, individual wheels
are regularly taken out of series production and subjected to an "audit",
involving detailed testing. Only the very best quality is accepted
and declared suitable for shipping to the customer.

Smart automation
Every working day sees the moulds in RONAL’s plants being opened
several thousand times. Robots deliver the cast wheels to conveyor systems.
They automatically progress through X-rays and CNC processing to the
point of completion. Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art production
machinery and loading systems, RONAL’s plants are among the most
efficient in the industry. All operational sequences are clearly defined
and precisely synchronized, with each stage being documented.
