In the eighties, RONAL was one of the first to establish a separate Design-Center.

Rapid Prototyping

High-speed milling machines then use the database to produce models of the actual wheel within a very short time. Once fitted to the vehicle, this greatly assists the decision-making process in terms of choice of design.

Working hand in hand with the customer

The design of the wheel has a marked effect on the appearance of the car, which is why RONAL designers usually co-operate closely with the car manufacturer's design department right from the early stages of the vehicle's development. For the automotive industry, the substantial creative potential, which the RONAL design team can offer is a very welcome service. The team first takes hand-drawn sketches and develops them further on the computer. Based on this data, three-dimensional computer models are generated which are equal to photo-realistic visuals.
